Subsequent to an electrical problem, the temperature of a machine rose in a dry cleaning shop and a tetrachloroethylene leak ensued. A safety perimeter was set up in front of the shop, which was located on the ground floor of a 4-storey building. Fire-fighters, wearing self-breathing apparatuses, switched off the machine’s electrical system so that it could cool and ventilated the premises. One person experienced slight discomfort.
