During the annual closing of a dry cleaners, a 50-litre leak of tetrachloroethylene occurred at the level of a dry cleaning machine installation joint. All 24 residents of the building were confined indoors while efforts were underway to recover the solvent. One of the building occupants experienced slight discomfort.
