Swollen by heavy rain, the River Doubs overflowed its banks, flooding the front gate of a nearby sand and gravel mining company with 30 cm of water. The company’s offices were not flooded. The mayor asked the operator to evacuate its employees. In all, the various flood events of early 2018 halted the company’s mining operations for 10 days and its offices and material processing operations for two days.
