On a Sunday morning, fire broke out in an operating production workshop at a company manufacturing accumulators. The blaze destroyed an electrical accumulator storage depot. Notified by a passer-by, some 40 fire-fighters extinguished the outbreak using 2 large hoses before ventilating the smoke-filled building. The company manager estimated the total cost of damage and repairs at €225,000. The fire was caused by an electrical spark.
