As the result of a landslide, a retention basin containing 2 tanks of sulphuric acid risked overflowing into the effluent treatment plant of a dye shop. The product was recovered thanks to use of a lorry and tank piping was isolated in order avoid mechanical failure. A geologist visited the site the next day to appraise the situation. Emptying the entire installation contents was planned for 3 days hence.
