A leak of proteilic (a substance strengthened in ammonia nitrogen concentration that enters into the composition of livestock feed) polluted the PETIT MOULIN River. The aquatic fauna was fatally attacked over a 6-km stretch. The retention pond where the tank had been set up was equipped with an orifice, closed by an adjustable plug found to be in an inappropriate position.
