The waste sector is the predominant industry in the accidentology related to classified facilities. This sector shows an increase of the number of events.
This synthesis offers a comprehensive and macroscopic approach of the accidentology of the waste sector over the period 2010-2019 as well as detailed analyzes of the activities at the origin of a large number of events over the period 2017-2019. It thus highlights the lessons that can be learnt from this accidentology.
