While transferring smoke residue from the incineration of household waste to a silo in a transfer area of a special industrial waste stabilisation/solidification platform, a tank truck accidentally released four tonnes of ash containing lead, zinc and chromium. The steam-laden emission was spilt on the ground around the platform. Tests were carried out and samples taken. None of the homes were effected.
